Here is what I’m looking at so far, in no particular order:Ĭlearly these range in price quite a bit, however budget isn’t overly important at the moment as I am still figuring out what I want to spend.ĭefinitely open to any other suggestions, and I’ve even considered getting a pair of DIY kits and (slowly) building them myself. With that being said I’m not particularly looking for something that will replicate all those tones perfectly, I’m looking for something that I can enjoy playing all those bands with.ĭefinitely not afraid to use pedals for gain either (love my BE-OD, and I have a Plasma Pedal on order). Musically I tend to play the following, Def Leppard, Metallica, LED Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Halestorm and getting more into Joe Bonamassa as of late. Ive been using it for a few months now with my band, and I have no regrets buying it.
I have never owned a Blues Jr, but I can say that I think the Bassbreaker 15 is a great sounding amp. I’m getting a bit amp hungry again, and I’m thinking about doing a dual combo/low-watt amp setup in stereo (or dual mono) just for the fun of it. Its okay to admit you like John Mayers playing.
